Role Overview

Quanata is hiring a strategic and customer-focused product executive to define the future direction of insurance through AI-native, data-led solutions. In this leadership position, you will own the product portfolio vision, strategy, and operating model, with the goal of creating measurable value for major clients including State Farm and HiRoad Assurance Company.

This role sits at the center of product, technology, data, operations, and business strategy. You will guide cross-functional teams, improve how products are designed and scaled, and help advance innovation within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and drive the company-wide product vision, portfolio direction, and roadmap.
  • Work with executive leadership and client stakeholders to ensure product investments support business goals and customer outcomes.
  • Own the full product lifecycle, including discovery, prioritization, launch, and ongoing improvement.
  • Develop product operating models, governance processes, and portfolio decision-making frameworks.
  • Apply customer feedback, market signals, and performance metrics to uncover opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Partner with Technology, Data, Operations, Underwriting, and Actuarial teams to deliver scalable solutions with strong business impact.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing product team built on accountability, clarity, and collaboration.
  • Present strategy, priorities, tradeoffs, and product performance to senior business stakeholders.

Required Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Insurance, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 12 to 15 years of progressive experience in product management, product strategy, insurance products, or comparable leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of the insurance sector, ideally in P&C, insurtech, or data-enabled insurance products.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead product vision, portfolio strategy, prioritization, and cross-functional execution at scale.
  • Good understanding of modern technology platforms, AI-enabled capabilities, and product development tradeoffs.
  • Experience working with executive stakeholders and linking product strategy to enterprise goals.
  • Excellent communication, analytical judgment, and decision-making ability in complex matrixed environments.
  • Proven success leading and developing teams while encouraging collaboration and accountability.
  • Strong interest in building customer-centered, AI-native experiences that modernize insurance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in insurtech, fintech, or another highly regulated, technology-driven industry.
  • Background in organizational transformation, modernization, or product operating model redesign.
  • Experience creating or scaling direct-to-consumer digital products.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in business, product, technology, strategy, or insurance.
  • Experience launching AI-native products, capabilities, or transformation initiatives.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $550,000 to $650,000 per year. The final offer will depend on the candidate’s skills, experience, and Quanata’s internal compensation structure.

Benefits and Perks

The company offers a broad benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and supplemental income coverage for employees and dependents. Additional perks include a Headspace subscription, a monthly wellness allowance, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Remote employees receive a one-time $2,000 payment to help purchase home office equipment and furniture. Team members are also provided with MacBook Pros configured before their first day.

Employees accrue four weeks of paid time off in their first year. New parents receive 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave, usable within one year of a birth or adoption, and the benefit applies to both birthing and non-birthing parents.

For learning and growth, employees get up to $5,000 each year for professional development, continuing education, and career advancement. Team members also receive LinkedIn Learning access and coaching support through BetterUp.
