Role Summary
The Vice President of Operations will oversee company-wide operational performance, making sure budgets are achieved and day-to-day execution remains efficient and profitable. This leader should be highly comfortable with technology and systems, and bring strong financial judgment, analytical ability, and a clear focus on metrics. The role calls for someone who can improve operating margins by working closely with teams and executive leaders, while putting the right tools and support structures in place for both immediate goals and long-term priorities. The ideal candidate can juggle multiple demands, solve current issues, and still keep strategic opportunities in view.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct operational oversight across financial planning, people management, and company asset use, while partnering with senior leadership to support profitability.
- Shape, plan, and execute a company-wide operations and customer support strategy, including strategic planning and rollout.
- Guide and coach senior managers, strengthen leadership capability, and promote strong operating and sales practices.
- Review existing standard operating procedures, lead through exceptions, identify improvement areas, and work with executives on strategic, tactical, and operational concerns.
- Track, analyze, and report on core operational workflows, budget performance, and key business metrics.
- Work with executive leadership on annual business planning and on forecasts for future growth and expansion.
- Partner with the sales function to increase revenue by building, maintaining, and expanding customer relationships.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
- Experience at director level or a more senior position.
- Background in leading and developing both in-office and remote teams.
- Ability to think strategically and apply analytical and technical strengths to quickly understand needs, create solutions, and manage programs and metrics.
- History of guiding a business through meaningful profitable growth over an extended period.
- Strong command of operations and finance, with measurable success in planning and execution.
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
