Role Description

The Vice President of Operations is tasked with ensuring the company's operational efficiency, meeting budget targets, and maintaining profitable operations. This role demands a strong command of technology, systems, financial acumen, data analysis, and the ability to drive key metrics. The VP will be instrumental in enhancing operating margins through collaboration with team members and executive leadership, ensuring the necessary tools and support are in place for both immediate objectives and long-term goals. The ideal candidate must be adept at managing multiple priorities, addressing current challenges, and proactively identifying future opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee company operations, including financial planning, personnel management, asset utilization, and collaboration with executive leadership to ensure overall company profitability.
  • Lead the evaluation, strategic planning, and implementation of comprehensive operations and customer support strategies.
  • Provide expert management and leadership, mentoring senior management team members and embedding best practices in operations and sales.
  • Analyze existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manage by exception, and pinpoint areas for enhancement, working with executive leadership to resolve strategic, tactical, and operational issues.
  • Monitor and report on critical operational processes, financial budgets, and performance indicators.
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop the annual business plan and provide long-term forecasts for business growth and expansion.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to drive top-line revenue growth by establishing, maintaining, and expanding customer relationships.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience.
  • Previous experience in a director-level position or higher.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing both on-site and remote teams.
  • A strategic mindset with strong analytical and technological skills, capable of rapidly grasping concepts and developing, executing, and managing programs, metrics, and solutions.
  • A proven history of guiding an organization through substantial, profitable growth over an extended period.
  • Robust operational and financial expertise, with measurable success in planning, implementing, and executing strategies.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
