Job description

Role Summary

The Vice President of Supply Chain will drive the overall direction and operational oversight of the organization's supply chain systems. This executive-level position includes end-to-end management from strategic development and supplier relations to production planning, logistics, distribution, and international coordination. The objective is to maintain a robust, secure, and highly efficient supply chain while continuously refining operations for cost and efficiency gains on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape and execute medium- and long-term strategies for the global supply chain, emphasizing digital transformation and operational excellence.
  • Design worldwide procurement strategies, overseeing supplier evaluation, development, and long-term partnerships to maximize supply chain value.
  • Oversee and enhance production schedules, resource allocation, and coordination with procurement, warehousing, and logistics for streamlined order fulfillment and inventory turnover.
  • Develop efficient logistics and inventory control frameworks at both domestic and international levels, targeting minimized costs and improved distribution security.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across procurement, production, quality, sales, finance, and other key business units to ensure aligned and standardized supply chain objectives and processes.
  • Analyze supply chain metrics and industry shifts to drive the implementation of continuous improvement and lean initiatives, boosting both efficiency and profitability.
  • Monitor and preempt supply chain risks by establishing early warning and emergency protocols, ensuring ongoing compliance with legal and industry standards worldwide.

Experience and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 20 to 25 years in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related industries.
  • At least 8 years in executive management (Director level or above).
  • Expertise in jewelry or luxury goods supply chains is highly valued.
  • Significant background in international logistics or cross-border procurement activities.
  • Advanced knowledge of global sourcing, supplier management, logistics, and inventory processes.
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, communication, and execution abilities.
