Vice President of Supply Chain

Role Overview

Unity Impex is seeking a Vice President of Supply Chain to lead the company’s end-to-end supply chain strategy and day-to-day operations. This leadership role sits on the management team and is responsible for shaping an efficient, well-coordinated supply chain that supports the company’s broader business goals.

The ideal candidate will bring a broad strategic mindset, hands-on operational strength, and deep experience in supply chain leadership, with the ability to improve procurement, logistics, warehousing, and supplier management across the organization.

Strategic Supply Chain Leadership

Set and execute the company’s supply chain roadmap so that it remains closely aligned with business objectives and long-term growth plans.

Operational Excellence

Lead procurement, transportation, storage, and broader supply chain functions, continuously refining processes and allocating resources in ways that improve efficiency and performance.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with procurement, production, logistics, sales, and other relevant teams to keep supply chain activities synchronized and operating smoothly across departments.

Budgeting, Cost Control, and Resource Use

Contribute to supply chain budgeting and resource planning, identify opportunities to reduce costs, and improve how resources are utilized.

Team Development and Leadership

Recruit, develop, and guide a strong supply chain team while strengthening capability, accountability, and execution across the function.

Performance Tracking and Reporting

Define and monitor supply chain KPIs and provide regular performance updates to senior management.

Supplier and Risk Oversight

Build and maintain supplier relationships, support supplier evaluation and development, strengthen supply chain systems, and help ensure stable and reliable operations.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline is required. An MBA or another relevant management qualification is preferred.

The role calls for more than 20 years of overall work experience, including at least 8 years in supply chain management.

Core Competencies

Strong capability in supply chain planning and leadership is essential, along with solid experience in procurement, logistics, and warehousing management. The position also requires strong organizational ability, communication, coordination, analytical thinking, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills, plus the ability to drive supply chain initiatives to completion.
