Role Summary
The Vice President of Strategic Projects is charged with overseeing the planning, organization, coordination, and execution of the company’s critical projects, aligning them with the strategic development goals. This role demands multi-department resource coordination, enhancement of project management frameworks, and continuous improvement in project execution efficiency and teamwork, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery to sustain business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop implementation plans for critical projects based on company strategy, managing overall timelines and stage-wise progress.
- Manage the entire project life cycle including planning, execution, progress monitoring, deliverable acceptance, and post-project evaluation.
- Create and refine project management systems, workflows, and standards to elevate execution efficiency and managerial quality.
- Coordinate among business units and external partners to optimize resource allocation and enhance cross-team collaboration.
- Track project advancement, resolve issues promptly, and ensure seamless operation of project activities.
- Produce regular progress reports and analytical documents to support management decision-making.
- Identify industry trends and business needs to recommend strategic project planning and continual improvements.
- Advance the digitization of project management by enhancing platforms and collaboration tools to boost operational effectiveness.
- Implement a risk management system to monitor progress, devise mitigation strategies, and ensure project stability.
- Lead project team development, foster improved collaboration, and enhance professional and execution capabilities.
- Establish performance evaluation metrics, analyze outcomes, and optimize management processes.
- Perform additional project management and comprehensive coordination duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in project management, business administration, economics, engineering management, information management, or related disciplines preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in project or general management roles, including a minimum of 5 years managing teams.
- Proficient in project management methodologies and corporate operational workflows, with a history of managing large-scale projects.
- Exceptional skills in strategic planning, multitasking, and collaborative project progression.
- Excellent communication, coordination, organizational, and resource integration abilities.
- Strong aptitude for data analysis and logical reasoning to support project optimization recommendations.
- Demonstrated leadership, execution acumen, and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable to a multitasking environment and able to thrive in a fast-paced work setting.
- Experience with project management software and digital collaboration tools is advantageous.
