Vice President of Strategic Planning

Role Overview

Southern Cross Group, L.L.C. is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Planning to lead and implement long-term business strategies. This full-time remote position requires oversight of strategic planning activities such as market evaluations, competitive analysis, and scenario planning to aid executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leadership on business strategy development and planning initiatives.
• Align strategic priorities across various departments to ensure cohesive execution.
• Monitor and evaluate company performance relative to strategic objectives.
• Draft and present strategic recommendations and business cases to leadership teams.
• Manage and coordinate cross-functional projects that foster growth and operational improvements.
• Mentor team members and establish effective strategic frameworks that support company goals.
• Ensure all planning activities align with the organization's telecommunications objectives.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in strategic and business planning with a proven history of developing and implementing corporate strategies.
• Strong analytical capabilities, including expertise in market research and data-driven industry trend evaluations.
• Proficient understanding of finance, capable of constructing financial models, business cases, and ROI analyses.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in influencing executives and overseeing cross-functional collaborations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience preparing presentations and reports for executive audiences.
• Experience in telecommunications or related fields is highly advantageous.
• A bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or related disciplines is required; advanced qualifications such as an MBA are preferred.
• Ability to work productively in a remote setup, juggle multiple responsibilities, and handle confidential information sensitively.
