About the Role
Located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, this executive role offers a base salary of $200,000 with an additional 25% annual bonus. Our client is a prominent Canadian leader in temperature-controlled logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management with a widespread national footprint and loyal customer base.
This role is designed for an experienced sales leader who can think strategically, build and nurture effective teams, cultivate major customer relationships, and drive steady revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement a cohesive national sales strategy aligned with broader corporate growth goals.
- Lead and develop a high-achieving sales team through coaching and mentorship.
- Expand new business development efforts while deepening existing customer partnerships.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key national and strategic accounts.
- Identify emerging markets, new customers, and additional revenue streams.
- Set clear sales targets, KPIs, forecasting, and performance measurement tools.
- Collaborate closely with operations and executive leadership to ensure sales goals support overall business objectives.
- Provide the executive team with market intelligence and strategic insights.
- Contribute to the formulation of long-term commercial strategy and growth plans.
Candidate Profile
- At least 10 years of progressive B2B sales experience in relevant industries such as transportation, logistics, third-party logistics (3PL), warehousing, cold chain, or supply chain sectors.
- Proven senior sales leadership background, with experience at VP or Director levels.
- Strong track record of revenue growth and successful new business acquisition.
- Experience managing and growing sales teams effectively.
- Expertise in national account management and enterprise-level sales engagements.
- Excellent commercial, financial, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate successfully with customers, sales teams, operations, and senior executives.
