Vice President of Project Management

About the Role

We are looking for an accomplished and forward-thinking Vice President of Project Management to direct a global project delivery function. In this executive position, you will own enterprise-level project execution, keep strategic priorities connected to day-to-day delivery, and raise the bar for consistency, efficiency, and quality across all initiatives.

This opportunity is best suited to a senior project leadership professional who has guided large, cross-functional efforts in fast-moving environments. You will help ensure critical initiatives are delivered successfully while also creating scalable project management systems that strengthen the organization over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the enterprise project management direction so it supports business priorities and organizational objectives.
• Manage a portfolio of strategic programs and projects spanning several business areas.
• Develop, expand, and coach a high-performing global project management team.
• Create consistent project methodologies, governance structures, and best practices across the organization.
• Drive projects from planning through completion, with attention to quality, timing, and business outcomes.
• Work closely with Executive Leadership, Product, Engineering, Operations, and other key partners.
• Build and monitor KPIs related to project outcomes, delivery efficiency, and portfolio health.
• Handle resource planning, capacity balancing, and prioritization across competing initiatives.
• Spot risks, dependencies, and delivery barriers, then put mitigation plans in place.
• Improve project delivery processes, tools, and operating frameworks on an ongoing basis.
• Promote a culture centered on ownership, transparency, and strong execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a closely related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in project or program management, including work in senior leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-level project management or PMO organizations.
• Solid knowledge of project governance, delivery methods, and portfolio management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Well-developed analytical and organizational skills with a structured execution style.
• Experience managing distributed or global teams.
• Comfort using project management platforms and reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SaaS, technology, or enterprise services environments.
• Background in PMO transformation or enterprise delivery improvement initiatives.
• Experience overseeing large-scale programs across multiple regions or departments.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
