Role Overview
The Vice President of Products is a full-time, remote leadership position charged with shaping and executing the product vision and strategy for services, tools, and solutions tailored to entertainment industry clients. This role involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle—from initial concept to market launch—ensuring products meet client needs while aligning with the firm’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
The individual in this role will lead collaborative efforts across multiple departments including legal, operations, technology, and business development. Responsibilities encompass setting clear product priorities, managing project timelines and resources, analyzing market trends along with client input, defining product requirements, guiding development initiatives, and monitoring product performance against key indicators. Additionally, the Vice President is responsible for mentoring product team members, optimizing processes, and delivering consistent high-quality experiences to both internal teams and external clients.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in defining product strategies with clear roadmaps and market positioning. Proven experience managing the full product lifecycle—from gathering requirements through launch to ongoing optimization—is essential. A demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into scalable services or digital products is required. Strong analytical skills are necessary for interpreting data, evaluating market opportunities, and shaping strategic priorities. Leadership experience in coordinating cross-functional teams, particularly involving legal, operational, technical, and business units, is critical. Prior exposure to professional services or the entertainment sector is considered advantageous. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and decisive judgment skills are expected. Candidates should hold at least a bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or certifications in product management represent a plus. Comfort working remotely and the capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills are mandatory.
