Role Overview
The Vice President of Product Operations at Prime Plan is a full-time remote position responsible for overseeing comprehensive product operations and promoting operational excellence throughout the product portfolio. This leadership role involves developing and refining processes, tools, and workflows that facilitate efficient product planning, prioritization, and delivery.
Collaboration is key in this role, working closely with product management, engineering, marketing, and customer-facing teams to maintain alignment on product strategy, roadmaps, and launch preparedness. Daily responsibilities include establishing performance metrics, tracking product execution, resolving cross-departmental obstacles, and consistently enhancing the use of data and insights to guide product-related decisions.
The position also encompasses mentoring leadership staff, managing budgets, and instituting best practices concerning governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Product Operations, including creating and scaling processes, frameworks, and operating models for complex product organizations.
- Expertise in Product Management, demonstrated by the ability to convert strategies into practical roadmaps and measurable results.
- Proven Program Management skills, managing various initiatives, dependencies, and schedules across multiple teams.
- Strong Project Management capabilities to lead the planning, execution, and timely delivery of product-related projects within scope.
- Advanced analytical competencies for interpreting product, customer, and operational data to drive informed decision-making and improve performance.
- Experience managing distributed or remote teams, with excellent people management, coaching abilities, and engagement with stakeholders.
- Outstanding communication skills, proficient in presenting complex information effectively to both executive and non-technical audiences.
- Background in SaaS, technology, or digital product sectors; experience in scaling companies or operating in high-growth scenarios is highly advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; possession of an advanced degree such as an MBA is desirable.
