Role overview
L'Atelier Berge is hiring a full-time, remote Vice President of Procurement based in the United States. This leadership role is responsible for shaping procurement direction, strengthening supplier partnerships, and ensuring purchasing activities support broader business objectives.
What you'll do
You will design and roll out procurement approaches that align with company goals, oversee day-to-day procurement activity, and work to improve the efficiency of the supply chain. The role also includes leading negotiations, managing supplier relationships, keeping procurement practices compliant, and partnering with teams across the business to streamline processes and unlock savings.
Leadership and team development
In addition to operational ownership, you will coach and support procurement staff, build team capability, and help create a high-performing procurement function that can deliver long-term value.
Qualifications
- Hands-on expertise in negotiating and managing contracts
- Strong knowledge of procurement practices and supplier development
- Solid understanding of supply chain management
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage people effectively
- Experience creating and executing procurement strategies
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Clear communication and strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related discipline; an MBA is preferred
- At least 10 years of procurement experience, including senior leadership responsibilities
