About the Role
We’re hiring a seasoned procurement leader to head the enterprise procurement function and improve sourcing performance across the organization. This executive position will own procurement strategy, supplier relationships, process efficiency, and the strength and scalability of the supply network.
The right candidate brings deep experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and cross-functional leadership. This is an opportunity to influence procurement direction while helping the business grow sustainably and operate more effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and roll out procurement plans that support business goals and future growth.
- Direct enterprise sourcing programs, supplier evaluation, contract administration, and day-to-day procurement activity.
- Recruit, coach, and develop a strong procurement team built around teamwork, ownership, and ongoing improvement.
- Form strategic supplier relationships that improve quality, innovation, operational performance, and long-term value.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Product, and executive leaders to keep procurement priorities aligned with company objectives.
- Design category strategies that improve buying outcomes across different business areas.
- Manage supplier performance programs covering service levels, delivery dependability, and relationship growth.
- Set procurement policies, governance standards, and best practices to improve consistency, visibility, and effectiveness.
- Track procurement results using KPIs and analytics to uncover areas for improvement.
- Sponsor procurement technology and process initiatives that improve scalability and efficiency.
- Assess market conditions, supplier strengths, and industry shifts to guide sourcing decisions and long-range planning.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related discipline is required; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of increasing responsibility in procurement or strategic sourcing leadership, including senior management or executive-level ownership.
- A demonstrated history of leading enterprise procurement teams and building high-performing organizations.
- Strong command of strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, category management, and contract negotiation.
- Experience overseeing complex procurement activity across multiple functions or regions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and executive stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a data-led decision-making style.
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms, procurement tools, supplier management systems, and spend analytics software.
- Ability to lead change and manage several strategic initiatives in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in technology, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, professional services, or another complex industry is an advantage.
- Experience with global sourcing, supplier network optimization, or enterprise procurement transformation is preferred.
- Exposure to procurement automation or digital procurement programs is a plus.
- Professional certifications in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing are beneficial.
