Role overview
A mission-led and expanding organization in the Louisville area is hiring a Vice President of Operations & Strategy Execution. This executive-level position is responsible for turning strategic priorities into reliable, measurable outcomes. Reporting to the President, the role is central to improving systems, building leadership strength, and supporting organizational scale.
Key responsibilities
- Convert strategic goals into practical plans with clear ownership and follow-through.
- Upgrade operating processes, systems, and routines across several service lines.
- Increase execution on important initiatives and strengthen day-to-day operational delivery.
- Coach managers and help them grow into stronger leaders with better decision-making habits.
- Work closely with Finance to improve budget discipline and overall operational results.
- Oversee operations in multi-location, labor-heavy service settings.
- Build greater performance visibility through scorecards and structured reporting tools.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate brings 7–15+ years of progressive leadership in operations, especially within multi-site, labor-intensive service businesses. They should have a track record of developing capable managers and leadership teams, along with hands-on experience in labor management, service quality, budgeting, and performance improvement. A strong systems-oriented mindset and the ability to create execution frameworks and scorecards are important. The person should communicate clearly, combining accountability with empathy. Experience in facility services, commercial cleaning, hospitality, logistics, healthcare support services, or similar environments would be an advantage.
