Position Summary
The Vice President of Operations Strategy spearheads the development and implementation of the organization's operational strategy. This executive role focuses on aligning operational systems with business objectives to optimize processes, innovate operational models, and improve organizational efficiency. The role ensures that operational capabilities support the company’s long-term strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop medium- to long-term operational strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Assess operational capabilities and design execution plans that support growth and scalability.
- Analyze and optimize business operational models to drive transformation and increased profitability.
- Manage strategic projects by translating corporate strategy into actionable operational plans and monitoring progress across departments.
- Establish performance management systems including KPIs and data analysis to identify improvement opportunities and foster continuous enhancement.
- Implement operational excellence methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to standardize and automate processes while reducing costs and enhancing efficiency.
- Lead data-driven decision-making by creating analytical frameworks, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to support management decisions.
- Direct corporate digital initiatives, including ERP, CRM, BI, AI, and big data integration, to advance digital transformation and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, product development, R&D, finance, and HR to ensure operations strategy aligns with business plans and project execution.
- Support business growth by optimizing operating models, enhancing customer service and delivery, and strengthening competitive positioning.
- Build and manage high-performing teams in operational strategy, analytics, and project management, fostering professional development and a strong team culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Operations Management, Strategic Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- Master’s degree preferably an MBA or Master’s in Strategic Management.
- Over 30 years of experience in operations management, strategic planning, or corporate consulting.
- At least 15 years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in establishing operational systems and driving strategic transformation in large enterprises.
- Industry experience in sectors such as technology, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, internet, or enterprise services is advantageous.
