About The Role

Our client, a company with over 40 years of experience delivering inspiring products across various categories for both consumers and professionals, is seeking a results-oriented Vice President of Operations. This senior leadership position is pivotal for ensuring smooth, efficient operations aligned with the company’s strategic goals across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operational activities including supply chain management, quality control, logistics, inventory, and warehouse operations.
  • Design and implement strategies and systems that enhance operational efficiency, agility, and intelligence.
  • Monitor critical performance metrics and initiate improvements as needed.
  • Lead and develop managers and supervisors to build a high-performing workforce.
  • Establish and nurture productive relationships with suppliers and partners.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports, financial budgets, and forecasts to executive leadership.
  • Manage all company facilities across North America and China, including coordination with third-party logistics providers.
  • Promote a culture that embraces continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes to seize opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Handle legal compliance, risk management, and product liability matters related to operations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
  • More than 10 years of leadership experience in operations, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Proven expertise in budget management, cost control, and financial forecasting.
  • Track record of leading large teams and driving significant operational enhancements.
  • Experience working in fast-moving, dynamic organizational environments.
  • Strong commitment to ongoing learning and operational excellence.
