Position Overview

The Vice President of Operations Management will lead the design and execution of the company’s overall operations strategy. The role is responsible for improving organizational efficiency, strengthening resource allocation, raising operational quality, building strong operating systems, refining processes, managing costs, protecting delivery capability, and driving ongoing improvement.

This leader will work closely with Product, Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, and Human Resources to keep the operating model efficient, steady, and scalable while supporting business growth. The role normally reports to the CEO, COO, or President.

Core Responsibilities

• Set the overall operations strategy and annual operating plan.
• Create a standardized operations management framework, including goals, performance measures, and management controls.
• Improve the operating model and resource allocation approach so they align with company strategy.
• Raise operational efficiency, execution quality, and delivery speed across the organization.
• Simplify and improve business processes while promoting lean operations and continuous improvement.
• Strengthen cost discipline and improve the use of people, time, and other resources.
• Build a complete operations management system with clear standards, policies, and process guidance.
• Introduce operational risk controls, internal control mechanisms, and digital/intelligent management practices.
• Improve collaboration between departments and support stable, reliable operations.
• Lead major operational projects and ensure cross-functional execution milestones are achieved.
• Monitor critical business deliverables, solve major operating issues, and maintain delivery quality.
• Run operations review meetings and support structured decision-making.
• Set up operational data monitoring and analysis systems.
• Manage KPI tracking for operational performance.
• Analyze efficiency, costs, and resource utilization, and use insights to support better decisions.
• Establish early-warning mechanisms for operational risks and drive continuous improvement through data.

Work Scope

The role is broad and strategic, with responsibility for operational planning, performance management, process optimization, cross-department coordination, and data-led decision support across the business.
