About the Company
Hartmann Young is collaborating with a cutting-edge Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) firm that develops next-level implantable neurotechnology aimed at revolutionizing neurological disorder treatments. As they prepare to expand commercially, they seek a Vice President of Operations to elevate manufacturing, supply chain, and operational frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the overarching operational strategy encompassing manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and program management functions.
- Create scalable operational processes to support both clinical development phases and commercial growth objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with Engineering, Research & Development, Clinical, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory departments to ensure timely product delivery.
- Establish and manage partnerships with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
- Enhance operational excellence via key performance indicators, initiatives for process optimization, and encouraging cross-functional teamwork.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing operations team.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years in leadership roles focused on operations in medical device or neurotechnology sectors.
- Hands-on experience with implantable devices, Brain-Computer Interfaces, neuromodulation technologies, or other Class II or III medical devices.
- Track record of successfully scaling operations during periods of rapid MedTech industry growth.
- Deep expertise in manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and scaling operations for commercial readiness.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally, engaging with teams in engineering, clinical, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs.
- Familiarity with FDA-regulated manufacturing standards and Quality Management Systems compliance.
