Role Summary
In this fully remote leadership position, you will guide day-to-day operations as well as the longer-term operating strategy of the business. The role involves coordinating a distributed team, improving workflow efficiency, strengthening alignment across functions, and helping the company scale toward sustainable global expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute operational strategies that support the organization’s long-range business objectives.
- Review existing processes, improve internal systems, and introduce operating practices that raise efficiency and help control costs.
- Manage, coach, and motivate a remote leadership team made up of department heads and managers.
- Encourage strong coordination and communication across supply chain, sales, technology, and customer success functions.
- Track core performance indicators, interpret operational data, and share insights that support executive-level decisions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has already succeeded in a senior operations leadership role such as Vice President, Director, or C-suite executive. Experience in automotive, manufacturing, supply chain, or another fast-moving industry is strongly preferred. The role also calls for solid financial understanding, strong strategic thinking, and a record of building and scaling business operations. Success in managing a fully remote team is important, along with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
