Vice President of Operations

Role overview

As Vice President of Operations at ABO Energy, you will oversee the company’s end-to-end operational function with a strong emphasis on efficiency, service quality, and sustainable growth. The role requires close coordination across multidisciplinary teams and ownership of core operational processes, performance metrics, and delivery against business objectives.

You will drive the execution of the operating strategy, shape and continuously improve internal processes, and manage the budget and resources allocated to operations. This position also involves working closely with finance, sales, technology, and customer-facing teams to keep priorities aligned across the business.

This is a full-time position and is performed remotely, with regular collaboration across teams located in different time zones.

Requirements

• Strong background in operations leadership, including managing teams and improving processes in fast-growing environments.
• Advanced experience in financial and P&L management, covering cost control, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
• Solid strategic planning capability, including goal setting, OKRs/KPIs, and business plan tracking.
• Proven project management experience, with the ability to prioritize initiatives and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Customer-centric mindset, with experience improving and designing high-quality service experiences.
• University degree in business administration, engineering, economics, or a related field; a master’s degree or MBA will be considered an advantage.
• Inclusive leadership style, strong communication skills, conflict management ability, and data-informed decision-making.
• Previous senior leadership experience in energy, renewables, or related sectors will be highly valued.
• Fluency in spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Comfort using digital collaboration and analysis tools such as advanced Excel, BI platforms, and project management software.
