About the Role
Our client, a leading owner and operator of premier Class A multifamily trophy properties, is searching for a Vice President of Operations. This executive will champion hospitality-centric service paired with institutional rigor to oversee daily operational functions, standardize scalable processes, and enhance experiences for both residents and staff amidst amenity-rich high-rise towers in Chicago, IL.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct portfolio performance including budget management, workforce coordination, and adherence to luxury service benchmarks.
- Develop and implement scalable Standard Operating Procedures and Key Performance Indicators to ensure consistent excellence of trophy-class properties.
- Lead and cultivate teams focused on delivering white-glove service and fostering a culture of accountability.
- Supervise high-rise technical and concierge systems assuring operational reliability and resident satisfaction.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on capital expenditure planning and operational performance reporting.
- Manage transitions and operational expansions during acquisition phases.
- Identify potential risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies.
Required Skills and Experience
- Over a decade of senior leadership in luxury high-rise or Class A multifamily residential property operations.
- Expert knowledge of high-rise infrastructure, life safety protocols, and hospitality-focused service models.
- Demonstrated success in designing and expanding operational frameworks within growth-driven organizations.
- Proven ability to lead execution both on the ground and in executive board meetings.
- Strong financial capabilities including management P&L experience on high-value asset portfolios.
- Self-driven leadership with the capacity to build organizational systems autonomously.
