Reporting to executive leadership, you will function as the operational cornerstone of the organization. This position suits a hands-on leader who thrives in a close-knit, boutique environment focused on collaboration, who naturally seeks to improve existing operations, and who builds strong trust across departments and teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the supply chain end-to-end including logistics, vendor relations, and cross-functional coordination among quality, sales, and distribution teams.
  • Maintain an active onsite presence at headquarters daily to ensure operational discipline, support both onsite and hybrid staff, and manage facility functions cohesively.
  • Evaluate operational metrics and workflows to identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, remove bottlenecks, and streamline processes.
  • Modernize internal systems by reviewing administrative procedures, setting performance objectives, updating employee policies, and improving safety and tracking protocols.
  • Lead regulatory readiness and compliance efforts, managing audits and inspections from customers and regulatory agencies with professionalism and composure.
  • Cultivate a culture of empowerment by respecting experienced employees and encouraging the entire workforce to develop and take initiative. Effectively engage a hybrid team.
  • Act as an executive representative at industry conferences, association meetings, and partner interactions on behalf of Verdure Sciences’ leadership.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in operations management.
  • Proactive, action-driven mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret quantitative data and financial information to inform decisions.
  • Experience with regulatory audits and preparedness.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property practices and policies.
  • A grounded, hands-on leadership style suited to a growing and lean company environment.
  • A curious and relational leader capable of building trust and inspiring organizational progress.
  • High energy, authentic communication, and commitment to long-term organizational contribution.
  • Composed and professional demeanor during critical operational and executive situations.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary details to be discussed during the hiring process.
  • Benefits package includes comprehensive health, dental, and life insurance, along with a 401(k) plan.
  • Position requires daily in-office attendance at the headquarters located in Noblesville, Indiana, within the Indianapolis metropolitan area or surrounding locations.
