Position Overview
The Vice President of Operations oversees daily operational activities across the company's main business sectors, ensuring alignment in processes, technology, and personnel to consistently achieve high-quality outcomes and support ongoing expansion efforts.
This role holds direct responsibility for enhancing revenue growth, boosting operational effectiveness, and expanding profit margins in designated business areas, while establishing scalable systems to enable organizational growth.
Initially reporting to the COO, this position is set for transition to the President/CFO as part of the leadership succession plan.
Designed as a critical leadership development role, it provides a clear advancement path to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) position upon proven performance and company evolution.
Opportunity Highlights

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations and monitor performance indicators across assigned business segments.
- Collaborate with Business Leaders to initiate revenue growth strategies, including service expansion, entering new markets, and cross-department initiatives.
- Enhance profitability and operational margins via strategic cost control, pricing optimization, and efficiency improvements.
- Hold direct accountability for profit and loss outcomes in core lines such as Recovery, Cannabis, and Economic Development.
- Work with Business Leaders to implement focused strategic initiatives.
- Streamline and elevate enterprise-wide operational procedures.
- Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and optimizing productivity.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality client service delivery.
- Develop leadership capabilities and foster team accountability.
- Align cross-functional efforts across operations, finance, technology, and sales divisions.
Success Objectives for First Year
- Achieve tangible revenue and earnings improvements in Recovery, Cannabis, and Economic Development sectors.
- Create enterprise-wide KPI dashboards to monitor performance, productivity, and growth.
- Identify and implement margin enhancement actions by evaluating workforce, workflows, and technology integration.
- Boost operational efficiencies within assigned business areas.
- Strengthen leadership talent and enhance accountability levels throughout teams.
- Demonstrate capability to extend impact to enterprise-level operational leadership.
- Show readiness for broader role and responsibilities.
Long-Term Progression
The role acts as a planned transition path toward the COO position, with future responsibilities encompassing enterprise-wide leadership, transformative projects, and merger & acquisition integration.
Future duties will include overseeing overall revenue, earnings, and operational success in partnership with the executive team.

Compensation
Annual salary range from $195,000 to $245,000.
Work Location
