Overview
The Vice President of Learning and Development will lead and transform a world-class learning function that aligns with and supports the organization's vision. This role requires developing and executing comprehensive learning strategies in collaboration with top leadership and across all company markets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Reinvent and guide the Learning and Development department to achieve excellence.
- Develop and implement learning strategies and plans in partnership with senior leaders, ensuring alignment across all organizational markets.
- Identify connections that support organizational goals across regions including leadership, clinical learners, team members, and emerging talent pools.
- Embed the organizational mission, values, leadership models, and aspirations seamlessly into all learning programs.
- Collaborate with universities and academic partners to build and maintain a pipeline of future workforce talent.
- Support governance and operational planning for learning initiatives in coordination with senior management.
- Cultivate strategic relationships and advise leadership on leveraging learning capabilities to impact business performance positively.
- Continuously assess and adapt learning strategies to meet evolving organizational needs and enhance learner experience.
- Report regularly on learning goals, strategic initiatives, and forecast resource capacity to deliver innovative learning solutions.
- Lead efforts to unify learning technologies and platforms for use across business units.
- Champion investment in learning and secure ongoing resource allocation.
- Engage senior business leaders to integrate learning into talent acquisition, development initiatives, and retention strategies.

Educational Qualifications
- Master's degree in organizational learning, leadership, or education is required.
- Doctorate degree in a related field is preferred.
Professional Experience
- A minimum of 15 years in learning & development, organizational development, or a related discipline.
- Proven success influencing others and achieving impactful results.
- Experience launching new programs and delivering significant outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a high-performing team.
