Role Overview

The company is recruiting a visionary Vice President of Design to oversee all design dimensions—digital product interfaces (UI/UX), industrial design, and brand experience. This leadership position demands unifying Gantri's design language across software platforms, tangible products, design systems, and marketing initiatives, shaping the global perception of the brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive design strategy that spans Gantri’s digital platforms, physical product lines, and branding efforts.
• Lead and motivate a diverse design team encompassing industrial, UX/UI, and brand designers.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to create user-friendly, scalable digital experiences tailored for designers and brands.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of integrated design systems that unify digital interfaces and physical forms.
• Direct the industrial design group to produce impactful, manufacturable products leveraging Gantri’s on-demand production technology.
• Enhance Gantri’s brand identity consistently across all customer touchpoints such as website, packaging, and showrooms.
• Serve as a core member of the leadership team, influencing corporate strategy and nurturing company culture.

Qualifications

• More than 20 years of experience in design, including at least 5 years in leadership roles managing both digital and industrial design disciplines.
• Expertise in digital product design with a strong foundation in UX/UI, industrial design, and brand aesthetics.
• Proven experience leading design in consumer companies integrating hardware and software (e.g., Apple, Nest, Sonos, Peloton, Airbnb, IDEO).
• Strong systems thinking capability to scale design processes across both form and functionality.
• Demonstrated ability to build and nurture high-performing, cross-functional design teams.
• Effective collaboration skills with product development, engineering, and manufacturing groups.
• Strategic leadership style complemented by the capacity to engage hands-on as situations demand.
