Role overview

The Vice President of Business Excellence is a senior operational leader accountable for enterprise performance improvement, operational excellence programs, and company-wide transformation efforts. This position partners with executive leadership and teams across the organization to improve efficiency, strengthen execution, and enable scalable growth through continuous improvement and business optimization.

What you'll do

  • Create and keep updated enterprise business excellence strategies that support company goals.
  • Champion operational performance improvement initiatives across departments and business units.
  • Build and apply frameworks for operational excellence, efficiency, and execution management.
  • Track enterprise performance measures and surface opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure business excellence efforts stay aligned with strategic priorities and growth targets.
  • Lead process optimization and workflow improvement programs across the organization.
  • Support scalable operating models and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Increase efficiency in workflows, reporting, and core business processes.
  • Identify operational constraints and drive corrective actions.
  • Promote consistency, standardization, and disciplined execution across functions.
  • Support transformation programs and strategic change initiatives.
  • Advance business scalability and optimization efforts.
  • Design approaches that sustain organizational improvement and consistent execution.
  • Help embed improved processes and operational best practices across the enterprise.
  • Work closely with operations, finance, HR, product, technology, customer-facing teams, and executive leadership.
  • Translate performance insights into practical recommendations for leadership.
  • Encourage collaboration across business units to raise organizational effectiveness.
  • Support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and execution programs.
  • Lead business excellence teams, operational improvement functions, and transformation workstreams.
  • Foster a data-led, performance-focused, and execution-oriented culture.
  • Contribute to workforce planning, leadership development, and capability building.
  • Improve accountability, ownership, and execution consistency across the organization.
  • Encourage scalable leadership practices and continuous learning.

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 15 years of leadership experience in operations, business transformation, operational excellence, consulting, or similar areas.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-level performance improvement efforts in fast-moving organizations.
  • Strong analytical ability, organizational leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to coordinate across multiple functions and influence decisions at the enterprise level.
  • Working knowledge of operational excellence methods, performance management, and process optimization.
  • Preferred background in SaaS, technology, fintech, AI, manufacturing, consulting, or enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other continuous improvement practices.
  • Experience supporting global or multi-regional improvement programs.
  • Exposure to enterprise transformation, organizational scaling, and business optimization projects.
  • Experience collaborating closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Location context: USA, with remote or hybrid working options.
