Role overview

Madison Hunt is supporting a prominent global infrastructure investor in hiring a Vice President for its New York-based investment team. The platform is among the world’s largest dedicated infrastructure investors, backing core-plus and value-add opportunities. Its latest flagship fund closed at more than $4 billion, and the team has built a strong investment history across energy, utilities, digital infrastructure, transportation, environmental services, and related infrastructure services.

This position offers the chance to join a highly active team with meaningful ownership across the complete investment process.

What you will do

• Evaluate and execute new investment opportunities throughout North America.
• Build financial models, perform valuation work, and structure transactions.
• Run due diligence processes and coordinate work with outside advisers.
• Draft investment memoranda and deliver recommendations to senior leaders and investment committees.
• Partner with portfolio company management to drive value creation initiatives.
• Support the growth of junior team members through mentoring and development.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate brings 6–8 years of relevant experience from infrastructure private equity or a closely related private equity environment. Experience in energy transition, industrials, business services, transportation, digital infrastructure, utilities, or other real assets strategies will be considered positively.

You should have strong transaction execution skills, advanced financial modelling ability, and the confidence to lead workstreams independently in a demanding, fast-moving setting. Clear communication and strong stakeholder management are also essential. An undergraduate degree with a solid academic record is required.
