Role Summary
This full-time remote leadership position is responsible for steering the company’s technology direction and day-to-day IT operations. The role involves shaping, deploying, and improving infrastructure, business applications, and security controls that enable internal teams as well as portfolio-related initiatives. The position also works closely with senior leaders to ensure technology efforts support business priorities, strengthen data and analytics capabilities, and promote ongoing innovation across the technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the organization’s overall IT strategy and operational execution.
Oversee the architecture, rollout, and optimization of systems, infrastructure, and security practices.
Manage IT programs and initiatives from planning through delivery.
Coordinate and evaluate vendors, consultants, and service partners.
Set technology policies and ensure they are consistently followed.
Maintain dependable, secure, and highly available network and system environments.
Partner with senior leadership to align technology investments with business goals.
Support analytical and data-driven capabilities across the firm.
Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and IT service delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a strong grounding in information technology, including enterprise systems, cloud environments, networking, and cybersecurity. Experience leading IT teams, handling budgets, and working with external providers is expected. The role also calls for strong strategic thinking, with the ability to map technology plans to business objectives and help organizations scale.
Applicants should bring advanced project management capability and a history of delivering complex, cross-functional technology work on schedule and within budget. Practical experience with cybersecurity controls, compliance standards, and risk management is important, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical groups.
Exposure to venture capital, financial services, or other technology-centered organizations is considered an advantage. A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required; an advanced degree or certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or ITIL would be a plus.
