Role Overview
The Vice President Finance position at Rele is a part-time remote role accountable for managing the company's financial strategy and operations. Key duties include leading financial planning and analysis such as budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to facilitate sound decision-making. The role involves reviewing financial statements, monitoring key performance indicators, and ensuring prompt and accurate financial reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
This leader partners with executive management to assess growth opportunities, oversee financial risk, and maintain compliance and control measures. Daily responsibilities include analyzing financial data, generating reports and presentations, advising on resource allocation, and promoting enhancements in finance processes.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in finance and financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing cash flow.
- Proficient in preparing and interpreting financial statements and reports while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Advanced analytical abilities to interpret complex financial data and extract actionable insights.
- Experience in senior executive finance roles such as Director, VP, or CFO, preferably in remote or distributed working environments.
- Sound understanding of accounting standards, financial controls, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Familiarity with modern financial software, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and ideally ERP or accounting systems.
- Educational background including a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related disciplines; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., MBA, CPA, CFA) are advantageous.
Compensation and Terms
