Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Vice President of Finance to spearhead the financial strategy of a rapidly expanding technology organization. As a fundamental part of the senior leadership group, you will enhance financial performance, bolster governance, facilitate strategic expansion, and collaborate closely with the CEO and Board on key business choices.
Key Duties
- Formulate and implement the company’s financial vision in support of growth targets.
- Manage financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis.
- Offer strategic financial advice to the CEO, Board members, and executive leadership.
- Supervise accounting, treasury functions, taxation, cash management, auditing, compliance, and internal financial controls.
- Lead fundraising activities encompassing equity and debt and maintain relationships with investors, banks, and financial bodies.
- Ensure IPO preparedness through governance, financial disclosures, regulatory adherence, and stakeholder coordination.
- Oversee all financial elements of mergers, acquisitions, strategic investments, and other corporate deals.
- Develop a high-performing finance team and drive finance operations and process enhancement initiatives.
- Maintain full compliance with IFRS standards, Saudi ZATCA regulations, and other relevant legal requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar disciplines.
- Advanced degrees such as an MBA or Master's degree are preferred.
- Professional certifications like CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA are strongly favored.
- Minimum 15 years progressive experience in finance, including 7 to 10 years in senior executive roles.
- Experience in technology-driven sectors such as SaaS, fintech, software, digital, or other fast-growing enterprises.
- Successful background in capital raising via equity and debt instruments.
- Hands-on involvement in taking companies through IPOs, M&As, or major corporate transitions.
- Demonstrated competence working with Boards, investors, investment banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, corporate finance, and ERP system transformations.
- Experience working within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region is highly desirable.
