Role Summary

The Vice President of Business Operations will own the company’s operating strategy and help raise performance across the business. As part of the leadership team, this person will partner with executive stakeholders to shape and roll out initiatives that accelerate growth, streamline execution, and improve overall organizational effectiveness.

The role includes designing scalable operating models, improving core business processes, and making sure teams stay aligned across the organization. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Compliance, and Customer Success to improve delivery, increase productivity, and support long-term company goals.

A major part of the role will be defining KPIs, tracking performance, and turning operational data into insights that support executive decisions. The position also contributes to the company’s growth in blockchain, digital assets, and other emerging financial technologies by spotting risks, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving process enhancements that reinforce a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

In addition, this leader will support strategic partnerships, market expansion efforts, and other high-impact initiatives that strengthen the company’s long-term growth and competitive position. The ideal candidate is a highly strategic operator and collaborative leader who performs well in fast-paced environments and has successfully scaled operations in high-growth businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the operational strategy for the business.
  • Partner with executive leadership to launch initiatives that support growth and improve efficiency.
  • Build operating frameworks that can scale with the business.
  • Review and refine business processes to improve execution and productivity.
  • Coordinate across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Compliance, and Customer Success.
  • Set KPIs and operational metrics, then monitor performance against them.
  • Translate data into actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Identify operational risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Support business expansion into blockchain, digital assets, and related technologies.
  • Contribute to strategic partnerships, market growth, and other key business projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in business operations, corporate strategy, management consulting, or a similar area.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams and managing people.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and delivering operational strategies that drive growth.
  • Strong knowledge of business operations, process improvement, and organizational development.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience leading cross-functional work and managing complex initiatives.
  • Ability to define, track, and manage KPIs and operating metrics.
  • Strong business judgment with a data-informed approach to decisions.
  • Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Preferred background in fintech, blockchain, cryptocurrency, Web3, or digital assets.
  • Preferred familiarity with DeFi, digital asset markets, and blockchain ecosystems.
  • Preferred experience supporting international operations or global expansion.
  • MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.

Eligibility

Applicants should be senior operations leaders with substantial experience in business operations or related strategic functions. The role suits professionals with a strong background in scaling organizations, leading cross-functional programs, and operating in high-growth fintech or digital asset environments.
