Role Overview
This full-time, permanent position based in Mumbai headquarters calls for leading sales excellence and Go-to-Market (GTM) transformation efforts across Godrej Agrovet’s Agri businesses. The mission is to develop scalable sales capabilities, implement superior execution frameworks, and establish best practices that secure a lasting competitive advantage.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead GTM and sales excellence transformation projects across agricultural verticals.
- Create, institutionalize, and expand standardized execution models, governance structure, and capacity-building programs.
- Manage all phases of transformation from conceptualization through implementation, adoption, and impact assessment.
- Enhance frontline productivity, streamline sales processes, and strengthen channel and market execution.
- Implement visibility for critical KPIs, robust execution oversight, and performance tracking systems.
- Collaborate with CEOs, sales leadership, and cross-functional teams to address priorities.
- Boost distributor, dealer, and channel performance throughout the business units.
- Partner with Digital & Analytics teams to enable technology-driven sales transformation.
- Support capability development initiatives for frontline and sales leaders.

Candidate Profile
Education: MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree focused on sales, marketing, strategy, or business from a premier management institution.
Experience: Minimum 8 years in FMCG, agricultural inputs, rural distribution, or sales transformation roles. Deep expertise in rural GTM strategies, channel management, and front-line sales systems is essential. Prior exposure to sales excellence, trade marketing, or transformational roles with strong knowledge of distributor and dealer ecosystems is required.
Competencies: Strategic mindset combined with strong execution capabilities, problem-solving aptitude, structured approach, stakeholder management, project and transformation oversight, and proficiency in analytics and decision-making. Understanding of rural and complex multi-business operational environments is critical.
