The business places strong emphasis on its people and aims to support them with a competitive rewards and benefits offering.

Role Overview

As a Vehicle Technician at Audi Centre Dublin, you will work in a modern workshop environment alongside experienced technicians. The role involves completing vehicle inspections, servicing work, and further repairs where required. You will also contribute to a high standard of customer service through accurate and efficient technical work.

The position comes with opportunities for ongoing development, including manufacturer-approved training and Hybrid & Electric vehicle training. Flexible working may be available, including a four-day working week option.

Working Pattern

Plus one Saturday each month from 09:00 to 13:30

Key Duties

  • Use modern diagnostic and inspection tools to complete vehicle health checks.
  • Carry out servicing in line with manufacturer standards and customer instructions.
  • Perform additional repairs once they have been approved by the customer.

  • Take vehicles on road tests to confirm faults have been resolved.
  • Prepare and finish all required paperwork to a consistently high standard.

Candidate Profile

The employer is looking for someone with previous mechanic experience who is motivated, ambitious, and willing to keep learning. You should be able to maintain excellent workmanship standards and thrive in a busy service environment.

A full UK driving licence and an NVQ Level 3 qualification, or an equivalent credential, are required. Experience with a specific brand is helpful but not essential because full brand training can be provided.

The role offers an on-target earnings package of up to €65,000 per year.

  • Structured pay progression with clear salary scales.
  • Additional annual leave that grows with service length.
  • Enhanced family leave, including 6 months full pay for maternity and adoption leave, and 2 weeks full pay for paternity leave.
  • Life assurance.
  • Access to Aviva Care services, including digital GP support, second medical opinion, and bereavement support.
  • Private medical cover.
  • Eye care vouchers.
  • Cyclescheme access.
  • Discounted gym memberships.
  • Retail and shopping discounts.

Training and Progression

The company invests in brand-specific and management development to support career growth. Training is designed to help employees build capability and progress within the business.

Equal Opportunity and Employment Checks

The employer is committed to an inclusive workplace and does not tolerate discrimination. Successful applicants will be asked to complete pre-employment checks, which may include verification of recent work history, address, credit history, and a standard criminal record check. Where the role involves driving, licence verification will also be required.

All job offers are subject to a 6-month probationary period from the start date.
