Hireace, together with Bargain Rentals, is a well-established New Zealand-owned enterprise operating fifteen branches nationwide, from Auckland to Queenstown. Hireace specializes in commercial vehicle and trailer hire, while Bargain Rentals provides car rental services.

Role Overview

This position involves dual responsibilities within customer service and vehicle grooming at our Queenstown location. As a team member, you will assist clients with their vehicle rental requirements and maintain the condition of our fleet.

Customer Service Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service both face-to-face and via telephone.
• Support customers with rentals, including managing reservations, vehicle pickups, and returns.
• Ensure rental documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and services to effectively assist customers.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints efficiently.
• Operate shuttle bus services to transport customers to and from the airport.

Vehicle Rental Grooming Duties

• Maintain the vehicle fleet to high grooming standards within set timelines.
• Complete necessary vehicle paperwork to comply with company policies.
• Relocate vehicles between the branch and external suppliers as required.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in customer service or retail, preferably within vehicle rental or automotive sectors.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering warm and friendly customer interactions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to respond promptly to situations.
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Familiarity with vehicle rental operations and procedures.
• Possession of a valid New Zealand Driver's Licence with experience driving manual transmission vehicles is mandatory.
