Role summary
This position sits within the Government Relations team and is responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of vehicle registrations across Al-Futtaim Automotive dealerships in Saudi Arabia. The role covers new registrations, renewals, ownership transfers, plate issuance, and de-registration, while ensuring every vehicle is fully compliant before it is handed over to the customer.
You will serve as the connection point between retail showrooms, workshop teams, finance, sales, and Saudi government bodies. Success in this role depends on strong process control, bilingual communication, and a solid grasp of KSA vehicle registration and traffic requirements.

- Work on government portals such as Absher Business, Najiz, MVPI, Tamm, Fasah, and Sabir in line with current rules and required turnaround times.
- Arrange vehicle inspections, insurance activation, and customs or clearance papers whenever these are needed for delivery.
- Maintain close coordination with the Traffic Department, Ministry of Commerce, SASO, ZATCA, insurance companies, and inspection centres to speed up approvals and solve issues.
- Act as the main contact for sales, branch leaders, and external authorities on all registration matters.
- Represent the business professionally during all government-facing interactions and help safeguard compliance and brand reputation.
- Track active cases daily to keep processing time within KPI targets and customer delivery commitments.
- Spot delays or process gaps and recommend practical fixes that reduce rework and improve speed.
- Protect original documents, number plates, and registration cards in line with custody and audit requirements.
- Ensure every submission meets KSA traffic rules, relevant Saudization requirements, and internal control standards.
- Check the accuracy of Istimara, invoices, insurance certificates, and transfer documents before submission.
- Support audits by keeping records complete, traceable, and easy to verify.
- Log all transactions correctly in SAP and the Dealer Management System so Sales, Finance, and Aftersales have accurate visibility.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on volumes, turnaround times, pending cases, and exceptions with no tolerance for data mistakes.
- Assist the Senior Manager – Government Relations with analysis, regulatory updates, and process improvement work.
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement of standard operating procedures for registration and related government processes.
- Stay updated on rule changes from Moror, MoCI, and ZATCA and share the impact with relevant internal teams.
