Position Overview

We are currently inviting applications for a Vehicle Preparation Attendant (Car Detailer) to join the team at our Slacks Creek location. This role requires a hands-on approach where the successful candidate will ensure vehicles are meticulously cleaned, polished, and prepared to meet high standards before being rented out. This opportunity suits individuals who take pride in thoroughness, enjoy a dynamic work setting, and have an eye for detail. There are potential full-time permanent roles for outstanding performers.

Key Duties

• Carry out vehicle cleaning tasks including washing, vacuuming, and detailing according to company guidelines.
• Prepare and present vehicles to be ready for customer pick-up.
• Conduct inspections for damages, defects, or maintenance needs.
• Refuel vehicles and top up fluids as necessary.
• Help manage and replenish cleaning supplies stock.
• Ensure the work environment is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Provide support to the branch team in various operational tasks as required.

Candidate Profile

• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Dependable with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Basic familiarity with vehicle cleaning or maintenance procedures.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a safe driving history.
• Physical capability to handle lifting items up to around 23 kilograms.
• Willingness and availability to work on a rotating roster including weekends.

Previous experience in vehicle cleaning/detailing, automotive upkeep, or a similar capacity is advantageous but not mandatory.
