Role Overview

We seek a self-employed contractor to act as a vehicle inspector serving the Vancouver area. This role offers flexibility through scheduling by inspection, allowing you to manage your own hours. The inspector will meet buyers or sellers at the vehicle’s site, conduct exhaustive inspections, and generate detailed reports via our mobile application.

Candidate Qualifications

• Fluency in both French and English, both written and spoken (mandatory for some locations).
• Strong mechanical knowledge encompassing cars, trucks, SUVs, luxury and classic vehicles.
• Educational background in mechanics or automotive technology is preferred but not mandatory if compensated by experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ownership of a reliable vehicle.
• Clean driving record with proof upon request.
• Professional and courteous attitude representing the Car Inspected brand directly to customers.
• Proficiency in using mobile applications for reporting and documentation.
• Availability during weekdays; weekend availability is advantageous.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada as a self-employed contractor.

Ideal Applicant

Ideal candidates include mechanics, automotive technicians, mechanical engineers, or passionate car enthusiasts with in-depth vehicle knowledge. Candidates must communicate effectively in French and English and take pride in providing accurate, thorough vehicle evaluations.
