UX/UI Designer (m/w/d) with UI Focus – Fixed-term Position

Position Overview

We are looking to expand our UX team with a UX/UI Designer (m/f/d) specialized in UI. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to enhance our product ecosystem and advance the UX/UI maturity within the organization. Your work will blend analytical thinking and creativity while helping to solve complex problems with user-centered solutions.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Thoroughly analyze complex use cases and system architectures.
• Transform customer requirements into clear concepts, wireframes, flowcharts, and interactive design prototypes.
• Adapt customer style guidelines into our white-label solutions.
• Track ideas through to implementation, working collaboratively with the development team.
• Maintain, document, and continuously improve our design system.
• Advise various departments and colleagues on design-related matters.
• Participate actively in design critiques, reviews, and retrospectives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Completed design degree or comparable professional training.
• Several years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong analytical skills and a fast learner.
• Problem-solving mindset with curiosity about the underlying reasons.
• Ability to self-organize and work independently.
• Excellent proficiency in both German and English.
• Good communication skills.
• Enjoy working with tools such as Figma, Figjam, and Zeroheight.
• Keen interest in personal growth and professional development.
