Invedent is an Australian SaaS company providing an inventory management and marketplace solution tailored for dental practices to efficiently manage and order supplies. Following a recent capital raise, the company is expanding its team and seeks a talented UX/UI Designer dedicated to enhancing user experiences and interfaces.

Role Summary

The UX/UI Designer will be responsible for developing and sustaining a comprehensive design system for the SaaS platform, utilizing Figma to craft components and prototypes. Collaborative work with the design and development teams is essential to maintaining consistent branding and high-quality visuals.

Key Duties

• Verify the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Work collectively with team members across functions.
• Create and implement a scalable design system that encompasses components, patterns, and style guides.
• Advise colleagues on essential elements and best practices to uphold a strong design system.
• Develop and maintain thorough documentation for design standards and reusable components within Figma.
• Ensure the design system is user-friendly and accessible to the design team within Figma.
• Provide developers with clear design specification guides for accurate implementation.
• Execute usability testing and gather user feedback to refine the design system continually.
• Keep up with the latest trends and innovations in design systems and UI/UX methodologies.
• Support the design team in effectively utilizing the design system.
• Provide assistance with social media marketing and other marketing-related activities as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Dependable internet connectivity for virtual meetings.
• Availability to work remotely Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Australia/Perth time, including a lunch break.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a UI/UX designer.
• Previous experience in an agile team environment.
• Proficient use of Figma, especially in creating components and prototypes.
• Ability to translate user stories and requirements into effective and functional user interfaces.
• Experience in developing and managing a design system within a SaaS application context.

• Remuneration offered ranges from 40,000 to 50,000 Philippine Pesos.
