Role Overview

We are seeking a UX Intern to join our User Experience team for a six-month contract position based onsite in Toronto. The intern will be directly engaged in essential design activities including user research, problem discovery, ideation of solutions, execution, and delivery of design assets. Reporting to the Director of User Experience, this role will provide hands-on professional experience while learning to utilize industry-standard digital design tools.

Key Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities

• Participate actively in user experience research and problem identification.
• Collaborate on creative design solutions and assist in execution tasks.
• Develop skills using professional design software, specifically Figma.
• Contribute to delivering quality design outputs supporting both internal and external customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A solid understanding of fundamental design principles and demonstrated experience addressing real-world UX challenges.
• Proficiency or familiarity with digital design tools, especially Figma, for creating content and design assets.
• Strong critical thinking skills and openness to constructive feedback to foster learning and growth.

Compensation

This role offers an annual salary of 45000 CAD for the duration of the six-month internship.
