Role Overview
This part-time, remote position focuses on crafting engaging and user-friendly digital experiences that simplify AI concepts for healthcare professionals. The designer will collaborate closely with product and content teams to devise user flows, develop wireframes and interactive prototypes, and perform user research targeting healthcare practitioners' specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create wireframes and interactive prototypes outlining intuitive user flows.
- Design visual and motion elements including micro-interactions, animations, and explainer graphics to elucidate complex AI information.
- Iterate design solutions using feedback while ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
- Prepare comprehensive design assets for smooth handover to developers and content creators.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong capability in Design Thinking and user research to extract insights guiding design choices.
- Proven expertise in UX design and prototyping techniques for digital platforms.
- Competence in visual design fundamentals such as typography, layout, color theory, and motion design.
- Experience with digital health or educational products preferred, emphasizing complex informational content.
- Ability to efficiently work remotely, independently managing tasks while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledgeable about accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
- Proficient with design and motion software including Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, After Effects, or equivalent tools.
- Relevant academic background or equivalent professional experience in UX, interaction design, or visual communication.
