Job Purpose

The role is intended to provide general support across line positions as needed, working under daily supervision.

Key Duties

• Step in to cover line roles during breaks when assigned.
• Carry out routine cleaning and utility tasks under supervisor direction, such as sweeping, collecting waste, and cleaning equipment.
• Take on additional duties as required to support operations.
• Follow all safety procedures and workplace regulations in every task performed.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Strong time management and task coordination.
• Working knowledge of line position responsibilities and processes.
• Understanding of general plant housekeeping and utility tasks.
• Ability to read, interpret, and comply with safety instructions and rules.

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience

At least 3 months of relevant experience is required. A comparable mix of education and experience that shows the ability to handle the main responsibilities is also acceptable.

Work Environment

This position is based in an OSB manufacturing plant.
