Role summary
We are hiring a User Operations Specialist based in Singapore to represent players and advocate for their experience. The role focuses on investigating player problems, interpreting feedback, and turning those findings into practical improvements that strengthen the overall gaming journey. This position suits someone who is empathetic, meticulous, and strongly committed to player-first thinking.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of difficult player cases escalated by the customer service team and work toward effective resolution.
- Examine player issues in depth to uncover underlying causes, recurring needs, and pain points in specific regions.
- Review player feedback in a structured way, sort it into meaningful categories, and summarize the main patterns.
- Prepare clear reports that help guide improvements to the product and service experience.
- Use a solid understanding of player behavior to recommend enhancements to game features and product iterations.
- Turn resolved issues and practical solutions into knowledge resources that can be reused by the support team.
- Share learnings continuously to improve support efficiency and the overall effectiveness of user operations.
Requirements
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to communicate professionally in Mandarin to assist Mandarin-speaking players and review feedback written in Chinese.
- Strong analytical ability and concise summarization skills, combined with empathy for understanding player needs accurately.
- Clear logical thinking, a structured approach to work, and strong collaboration skills.
- High patience, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility when handling user operations tasks.
- Prior exposure to overseas game support or game operations is an advantage.
- Interest in, or familiarity with, 4X strategy games is a plus.
