The position is based in Weehawken Township, New Jersey 07086 and follows a hybrid work arrangement.
Experience in wealth management or capital markets is preferred. The ideal candidate will contribute both qualitative and quantitative research expertise, collaborate closely with product and design partners, and communicate insights in a way that drives informed decisions across teams.
What You Will Do
- Plan and carry out user research using techniques such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and field studies.
- Review existing products and services to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement.
- Interpret research data, spot patterns, and turn findings into actionable insights.
- Present research outcomes clearly through verbal and written updates for designers and other stakeholders.
- Work side by side with designers, engineers, product managers, and other collaborators so research informs product and design choices.
- Advocate for user-centered design practices and help ensure products create inclusive and intuitive experiences.
- Help the UX team better understand how to make the product feel more seamless, accessible, and easy to use.
- Prepare oral and written presentations that inspire change and support product direction.
Experience and Background
The role calls for approximately 7 to 8 years of experience in UX research or related work, with strong hands-on exposure to both qualitative and quantitative methods. Familiarity with research in financial services, capital markets, or wealth management is strongly preferred.
