About the Role

YO HR Consultancy is looking for a driven and target-focused US IT Recruiter to strengthen its recruitment team. This position involves identifying, evaluating, and coordinating candidates for a range of US-based contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent roles across several technologies and industries.

Work Location and Shift

The role is based in Indore and can be performed on-site, or remotely depending on business needs. It is a full-time position with a US shift, which means night-shift working hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Find suitable talent through platforms such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, and the company’s internal databases.
  • Use Boolean search, X-Ray search, networking, referrals, and social media to discover potential candidates.
  • Evaluate applicants for technical capability, work authorization status, communication ability, availability, and salary or rate expectations.
  • Arrange and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and clients.
  • Keep in regular contact with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Discuss and finalize pay rates and employment terms with candidates.
  • Submit shortlisted candidates to clients within required timelines.
  • Record candidate details accurately in the ATS/CRM system.
  • Develop and maintain a strong talent pool of IT professionals for upcoming requirements.
  • Consistently achieve daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment goals and KPI targets.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, Business Development teams, and Vendor Management teams.
  • Stay informed about current market trends, visa rules, and recruitment best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Solid understanding of the US recruitment workflow.
  • Hands-on experience sourcing candidates for IT positions.
  • Knowledge of common US work authorization categories such as US Citizen, Green Card Holder, H-1B, TN Visa, EAD variants including GC-EAD, H4-EAD, and L2-EAD, as well as OPT/CPT.
  • Familiarity with US billing and tax terms such as W2, C2C, and 1099.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with negotiation ability.
  • Good online research and sourcing skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong organization and time-management capabilities.

Preferred Qualification

A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred. Candidates with 6 months to 5 years of experience in US IT recruitment are ideal. Freshers with excellent communication skills and a keen interest in US recruitment are also welcome to apply.
