US Mortgage Title, Tax Calling, and Escrow Support Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking skilled professionals with hands-on experience in US Mortgage, Title Search, Tax Calling, and Escrow Support functions. This position offers remote work from Salem or Bangalore, operating on the night shift from 11 PM to 7 AM. The role involves collaborating with the National Commercial Services team to support escrow-related processes while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key Duties

• Assist with escrow transactions by opening orders, updating closing statements, verifying client details, and inputting verified data into internal and client systems.
• Execute tax calling operations, reaching out to tax authorities or agencies to collect and validate property tax information.
• Analyze tax certificates, payment statuses, delinquent taxes, due dates, exemptions, and other tax-related property documents.
• Review title plants and public records to trace chains of title.
• Interpret legal documents such as title commitments, policies, deeds, liens, mortgages, and entity documentation.
• Audit calculations and closing documents for correctness.
• Maintain organized property records, reports, and endorsements.
• Track and coordinate complex client requests through resolution, liaising among various teams as necessary.
• Identify resources and resolve process challenges independently.
• Maintain strict adherence to quality, information security, compliance, and confidentiality standards.
• Timely report any security incidents, procedural gaps, or risks identified.
• Participate actively in company-led training, orientation, and continuous learning initiatives.

Essential Skills and Experience

• 1 to 7 years of relevant experience in US Mortgage, Title Search, Tax Calling, Escrow Support, or Closing Processes.
• Strong familiarity with title paperwork, property tax documentation, escrow operations, and associated legal documents.
• Preferred experience with FAST or ClarityFirst software applications.
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written forms, with strong customer service and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• High attention to detail complemented by problem solving and critical thinking prowess.
• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple customer inquiries simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Teams platform.
• Capable of working independently while maintaining quality standards and meeting deadline expectations.

Salary range offered is between 300000 to 600000 INR annually.
