About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused US Recruiter with 2 to 5 years of direct experience in US staffing, especially within the Engineering field. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in managing end-to-end recruitment cycles, have excellent communication abilities, and excel in a dynamic, target-oriented setting. This role involves sourcing, screening, and placing top-tier engineering professionals across the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete recruitment process for engineering positions including Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Software, Industrial, and associated fields throughout the US.
- Identify qualified candidates utilizing job portals, applicant tracking systems, social networks, and professional connections.
- Evaluate resumes and conduct telephonic or video interviews assessing technical capabilities, communication skills, work authorization, and cultural compatibility.
- Navigate various engagement models such as W2, Corp-to-Corp (C2C), and 1099 contract arrangements.
- Manage negotiations around pay rates, billing rates, and salaries with candidates and hiring authorities.
- Timely submission of suitable candidate profiles to clients, with diligent tracking of submission to placement metrics.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of candidate and client information within the Applicant Tracking System.
- Develop and nurture a robust talent pipeline for current hires and future needs.
- Organize interview schedules liaising between candidates and employers.
- Conduct follow-ups post-placement to facilitate smooth onboarding and ensure satisfaction for all parties.
- Keep abreast of US labor market changes, engineering sector trends, and visa/work authorization policies including OPT, CPT, H1B, Green Card, and USC regulations.
