Role Overview

This position is for a US IT Recruiter focused on end-to-end hiring support for technical roles. The role involves partnering with hiring teams, finding suitable candidates, running early-stage screening, and managing interview and offer coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with hiring managers to understand open positions and translate those needs into clear job descriptions.
  • Search for talent through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and other sourcing channels.
  • Review resumes and shortlist profiles that align with the role requirements.
  • Conduct first-round interviews to evaluate technical capability, workplace fit, and candidate goals.
  • Arrange and manage technical interview schedules with hiring managers and team leads.
  • Keep the candidate pipeline and recruitment records current and organized.
  • Develop and maintain a reliable network of IT professionals for future hiring requirements.
  • Handle offer discussions and negotiations while keeping budget and market norms in mind.
  • Track industry shifts, new technologies, and current recruitment practices.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical recruitment, ideally within IT staffing.
  • Good knowledge of IT job profiles, technologies, and hiring trends such as Java, Python, Cloud, and DevOps.
  • Hands-on familiarity with ATS platforms, job boards such as Dice and Monster, and professional networks like LinkedIn.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage several requisitions at once and work effectively under deadlines.
  • Understanding of recruitment metrics and methods to improve hiring efficiency.
  • Awareness of different employment structures, including contract and W2 arrangements.
  • Preferred exposure to US IT staffing or collaboration with international clients.
  • Additional advantage if the candidate has recruiter-tool certifications or strong Boolean search skills.
  • Prior success in placing candidates into technical roles is preferred.
