A respected organization is seeking an experienced US & Canadian Payroll Specialist to join its team. This role is well suited to someone who performs effectively in a busy environment and brings solid hands-on experience with complete US payroll operations, along with a high level of accuracy and care.
Work Arrangement
For candidates in Greater Vancouver, BC, a hybrid setup is preferred, with about 2 days per week in the office. Applicants located elsewhere in Canada may be considered for a fully remote arrangement.

Key Responsibilities
- Run payroll from start to finish for US-based employees across multiple states.
- Make sure payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Handle audits, reconciliations, and payroll-related reporting.
- Respond to employee questions about payroll and correct any issues that arise.
- Work closely with HR and Finance on payroll matters.
- Keep payroll records and supporting documents accurate and up to date.
Candidate Profile
- At least 3 years of experience managing US payroll.
- Good working knowledge of multi-state payroll rules and compliance requirements.
- Experience using payroll software and HRIS systems.
- Very strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
- PCP or CPP certification is an advantage.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work on your own.
