US Accounts Executive (AR Specialist)

Role Overview

Inspiroz IT Services Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an Accounts Receivable Executive to work from its office in Millenium Business Park, Mahape, Navi Mumbai. The position focuses on keeping customer accounts current, collecting overdue payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting healthy cash flow.

The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with customers and internal teams, and familiar with core accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and send customer invoices accurately and within the expected timeline.
• Review customer balances and keep track of amounts that remain unpaid.
• Reach out to customers about overdue dues via email, phone, and other communication channels.
• Match customer accounts and settle billing differences where needed.
• Record incoming payments, including cheque, wire transfer, and online transactions.
• Keep accounts receivable records complete, organised, and up to date.
• Prepare ageing reports and share regular updates on collection progress.
• Work with other teams to close payment-related issues.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks.
• Follow company rules and accounting standards in day-to-day work.
• Support audits by supplying accounts receivable documents when required.
• Look for ways to improve the collection process and lower outstanding receivables.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related stream is required.
• 5–6 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or accounting is expected.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable workflows and accounting basics is necessary.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP tools is needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, along with negotiation ability, is important.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are required.
• A high degree of accuracy and careful attention to detail is essential.
• The role calls for the ability to manage several tasks at once and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with ERP platforms is preferred, and familiarity with QuickBooks is an added advantage.
• Exposure to invoicing, collections, cash application, and customer account reconciliation is desirable.
• Prior work in a fast-moving environment will be helpful.
